As an Avro RJ Captain with Summit Air, you are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft with a passion for customer service and prioritizing safety for our clients.Summit Air, headquartered in Yellowknife, NWT, operates across Canada, specializing in passenger charters, cargo transport, and customized flight solutions for industry-leading clients with a legacy of excellence in northern and remote aviation. We’re growing our fleet in the Quebec area and are seeking experienced RJ Captains.

Essential Responsibilities
- Operate Avro RJ aircraft safely and efficiently throughout Northern Canada as PIC in accordance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Stay current with all available flight information, including weather, and applicable NOTAMs where available, and verify type A flight plans for accuracy
- Participate in the aircraft pre-flight inspection, as well as all post-flight duties
Qualifications
- Current Canadian ATPL
- 4000 hours Total Time
- 2500 MPIC (greater than 5700 kg)
- 500 hours on a Jet aircraft an asset
- High Arctic experience an asset
- Glass cockpit experience an asset
- Current Passport with the ability to travel to the United States and Europe
- Ability to obtain Canadian Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Strong Commitment to safety culture
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
